Dr Domhnall Heraughty
Dr Domhnall Heraughty is a a graduate of University College Dublin. He has 44 years experience of general practice in Ireland, Canada and Cyprus. He has special interest in travel medicine and problems of ageing.
Dr Roddy Quinn
Dr Roddy Quinn has been a member of the practice for over 30 years. He is also the director of the Sligo Specialist Training programme in General Practice. He likes the variety and daily challenge of family medicine, and being able to help those who are struggling, for whatever reason.
Dr Siobhan McCormack
Dr Siobhan McCormack graduated from University College Dublin in 1977. She trained in various hospitals in Dublin and gained a wide experience in all aspects of general practice before Joining The Mall Family Practice in 1990. Her particular interests include women’s health and young people’s mental health and social wellbeing.
Dr Peter O’Shaughnessy
Dr Peter O’Shaughnessy qualified from NUI Galway in 2001. He worked in hospital medicine for a number of years, completing his medical membership examinations in 2005, before moving to the field of general practice. He has worked in the Sligo area as a GP since 2008, joining The Mall Family Practice in 2011. His special interests include; cardiology, respiratory medicine and travel medicine.
Dr Olwyn Devins
Dr Olwyn Devins studied in Trinity College, Dublin and completed her GP training in Wales. She returned to Sligo in 2009 and joined The Practice in 2010. Dr Devins has a special interest in antenatal care and has a diploma in medicine for the elderly.
Dr David O’Connor
Dr David O’Connor is a graduate of National University of Ireland, Galway. He has been working as a GP on the West coast of Ireland since 2011, joining The Mall Family Practice in 2015. His special interests include child health, mental health and occupational medicine.
Nurse Pauline McLoughlin
Pauline McLoughlin is a registered practice nurse and a lactation consultant who, after working and travelling abroad for many years came to Sligo in 1993. She joined The Mall Family Practice in 1996.
Nurse Nicola Raftery
Nicola is a registered practice nurse and midwife who completed her studies in Dublin and Galway. Nicola joined The Mall Family Practice in 2007.
